What to Expect DURING a Somatic Yoga Therapy Session
In a Somatic Embodiment Yoga Therapy session, you will be guided through an experience that blends mindful movement, breathwork, and gentle somatic awareness. These sessions are tailored to your individual needs, offering a supportive space to connect deeply with your body and emotions.
When you arrive, we begin by setting an intention for the session—whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, stress, or emotional tension.
Our session is about attuning to your body’s sensations and exploring gentle movements that allow your body to speak and heal. Your body & the sensations that you are noticing guide me in curating your session in the moment. You may be guided through slow, mindful stretches or yoga postures or invited to notice areas of tightness or discomfort, holding space for those sensations to shift. Each session is infused with tools like sound, breathwork, thai body work, marma therapy and guided meditations, helping to release stored emotions and calm the nervous system.
